Consider Doing Acts of Kindness This Christmas

Now that December is here, we are realizing more and more the spirit of Christmas inviting us to participate in the overall mood of sharing and giving. That is true meaning of Christmas anyway. I think John 3:16 says it best. "For God so LOVED the world that he gave..." God gave out of the love that He Is and can only come from him (1 John 4:7-8). It is a good time to give our love to others, especially to our less fortunate brothers and sisters.

There are many national organizations and non-profit institutions that you can donate to. A few of them are  Foundation,  And . These are great causes that is worthy of your donation and time. Now If you don't have immediate cash, one thing you can always do is donate your used clothes or stuff that can be useful for local shelters. This is a good way to help others even if you don't have much money. Also some even accept furniture donations and even car donations.

And did I say time? Non-profit institutions need volunteers to lend their talents or expertise in a variety of areas - administrative, counseling, gardening, culinary expertise, construction, teaching, and more. Whatever you do for a living or as a hobby will more than likely translate into a volunteer opportunity.

You may feel that you don't have the time to volunteer because of all of the demands on your work already. But just giving a few hours a week can be a rewarding experience. And it won't be just for the community but for yourself as ? It can increase your confidence while feeling a sense of fulfillment knowing that you can be counted for.

When you volunteer or donate, it not only makes a difference in someone else's life, but it brings joy and new friends to your life.
